I have grown up in the mountains of Eryri North Wales and completed my Mountain Leader qualifications and Rock Climbing instructor training. This has enabled me to be involved in mountain safety work keeping people safe on big races such as UTS (UTMB) and sky running races for many years.
Mountain running is not just about physical endurance, it is about mental strength, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges. Over the years I have competed in numerous races, faced countless obstacles, and learned invaluable lessons from the trails. These unique experiences have shaped my personal understanding of what it takes to excel in this demanding sport and stay safe.
